I really hate those three words.
I don’t believe anyone owes anybody anything.
We do things because we want to, it shouldn’t be to keep score.
Good deeds or “favors” are now used as a tally system between friends, families and lovers. What ever happened to just being there for other people?
Maybe I trust too easily - in fact I know I do. I am so tired of giving and giving and not thinking twice about what’s in it for me, but as soon as someone else does something generous or selfless - they make it a point to let me know they are waiting for some form of reciprocation.
You don’t owe anyone - and when you do something ANYTHING for someone else, it should be for nothing other than the fact that you want to.
NO ulterior motives, NO games - just grace.
The world, and everyone in it - they don’t owe you shit either. So make it your own, make your choices, and ask for help, but don’t hold your breath.
I wish more people would see that.
